This is to inform that the National Cadastral Resurvey Program (NCRP) initiated in 2008, is hereby formally closed with effect from June 19, 2024. The program has been successfully completed with His Majesty The King granting land Kidu in all 20 Dzongkhags.
A total of 151,649 beneficiaries received Royal Kidu of 157,276.196 acres. In addition, His Majesty also granted a total exemption for the excess land payment of Nu. 2590.114 million (Refund of Nu. 197.797 million + Exemption of Nu. 2392.317 million). The NCRP was carried out in accordance with the Royal Command of His Majesty The King, the provisions of the Land Act 2007, and the National Assembly Resolutions.
