Dasho in his opening remarks, has highlighted on the importance of NLCS and the Thromde working hand in hand to make the system as much user friendly as possible, so that general public availing the services through the system get maximum benefit. Dasho has also informed the participants that during the training all participants can share their comments and suggestion on the system as the system being at its premature stage, there is opportunity for further improvement, in terms of its functionality and make it more robust. Mr. Karma the CEO of Athang had also remained positive and welcomes any feedbacks from the users so that the system can be fine-tuned accordingly.

The honorable Executive Secretary of Thimphu Thromde has also attended the event and he too highlighted on the importance of working towards the sustainability of the system in the long run for the effective and efficient delivery of services to the citizen.

The portal was developed by Athang software services in collaboration with the NLCS.  The financial support for the project was granted by the World Bank.
